The design is much more than just make things look nice and pretty, it’s about functionality, usability, accessibility and much more. In short, it is to keep things clean in the end, and there is nowhere as stark contrasts of good and evil design on the World Wide Web.

To find out if a site specific questions are asked such as “suitable for its purposes”: Can a website to use? You can find the information you were looking for was easy? Maybe the site is found by search engines? The site is accessible for people with visual impairments? Text size can be made smaller or larger? Is it clear to the viewers with color blindness? Maybe the site is easy to navigate using a screen reader software? All of these things and more have to be in the design for the web – and this is especially important for a company online presence, where issues such as accessibility is not only a good idea, but our day legal liability.
